Invitation to submit an application to take part in a two day writing retreat University of Cambridge Christ’s College, Cambridge
17-18 August 2017
This is an opportunity for up to 10 scholars who are established in their research practice (post-PhD – ECR/Mid-Careers), have something they are working on towards the REF (either a paper or impact case study), but need a little head space to make some progress.
The programme will include guest talks related to impact, policy implications and writing tips. There will also be a social programme and peer feedback will be embedded. This peer feedback will extend beyond the retreat to established a continued network of support.
500 word summary/extended abstract
200 word supporting statement (why retreat is needed/intended target journal etc)

The small print:
The retreat will cost £75 (plus extra £49 if you need to arrive a night early – please let us know on application if you need an extra night accommodation).
One night accommodation in student halls of residence, refreshments and lunches will be provided.
You must cover your own travel costs.
Scholars must commit to engage to the full two days plus any peer to peer engagement post-retreat.
